Firearm Mentorship Network ("FMN") — https://firearmmentorshipnetwork.com
1. Purpose
This Participant Code of Conduct ("Participant Code") applies to every Participant—and every Guardian acting on behalf of a Minor—who creates a Training Request, books Training, or communicates with Instructors and Mentors ("Providers") through the Firearm Mentorship Network platform (the "Platform"). It is part of the FMN Terms of Service.
2. Eligibility and Honesty
I agree that:
- I am at least 18 years old, or I am a Guardian acting for my Minor child through my Guardian account;
- I am not prohibited by federal, state, or local law from possessing, receiving, or using firearms or ammunition, and I will tell the Provider and withdraw if that changes (for live-fire Training);
- I will describe my experience level, goals, and any physical or medical limitations relevant to safety honestly and privately to the Provider; and
- I will not create false requests, impersonate others, or use another person's account.
3. Respectful Communication
I will:
- Communicate courteously and professionally;
- Not harass, threaten, insult, discriminate against, or make sexual or romantic advances toward Providers or others;
- Not send spam or repeated messages after a Provider declines; and
- Respect Providers' time by responding promptly and closing requests that are no longer active.
4. Lawful Purpose
I will not:
- Seek Training for any unlawful purpose or to harm any person;
- Request instruction in unlawful firearm modification, unlawful carry, or evasion of law enforcement;
- Use requests or messages to buy, sell, trade, or obtain firearms, ammunition, or regulated items; or
- Ask a Provider to violate any law, range rule, or safety standard.
5. Safety Commitments
I will:
- Follow the FMN Safety Policy and all Provider, range, and RSO instructions immediately;
- Arrive sober and fit, and never handle firearms while impaired;
- Bring firearms only when the Provider and range permit it, transported unloaded, cased, and lawfully;
- Wear required eye and ear protection; and
- Speak up or call "cease fire" if I see something unsafe.
6. Bookings and Reliability
I will honor bookings, follow the Cancellation Policy and any disclosed Provider terms, pay Providers as agreed directly through their chosen method, and resolve payment questions directly with the Provider.
7. Reviews
I will post reviews only for Training I actually attended (or that my Minor attended), keep them honest and factual, and not include private information, threats, or profanity directed at individuals.
8. Guardians
If I am acting as a Guardian, I am responsible for my Minor's conduct, I will make all communications and bookings myself, and I will comply with the Parent/Guardian Consent and Minor Participation Agreement.
9. Enforcement
FMN may warn, restrict, suspend, or remove any account that violates this Participant Code, and may report threats or unlawful conduct to law enforcement. Providers may refuse or end Training with anyone who violates this Code.
