For instructors & mentors
Reach new students nationwide. Listing is free.
Firearm Mentorship Network connects people who want responsible training with qualified instructors and mentors. Build your profile, post classes, and get training requests from students near you.
Why instructors list on FMN
Free to list, free to use
No listing fees for instructors or mentors. FMN is supported by sponsors, not by you.
Get found by local students
Students search by ZIP, distance, and class type, so the people near you see your profile.
Post classes and fill seats
Publish scheduled classes with seat counts, levels, and formats, and manage bookings in one place.
Requests and messages built in
Receive training requests, agree on a time, and message students privately on the platform.
Tools to run your classes
Free with every approved profile. Built for instructors who teach group classes and want less paperwork on range day.
Repeating class dates
Schedule a weekly or every-other-week class once and FMN creates each date. Edit or cancel any single date on its own.
A calendar of your classes
See every scheduled class in a month or week view, with seats filled at a glance.
Class roster you can print
Confirmed participants, phone numbers, and emergency contacts in one list. Print it or download a CSV for range day. Minors are listed with their guardian.
Message the whole class
Send one update, like parking or a weather change, to every confirmed booking at once.
Completion certificates
Mark students complete and they get a printable certificate with a code anyone can check on FMN.
Flyers and share links
Every published class has a printable flyer with a QR code, plus copy and share links for your own social posts and email.
Show your price up front
Add an optional per-person price to a class so students know what to expect. You still collect payment your own way.
Verified reviews
Students who complete a booking are invited on their dashboard to leave a review, so your reputation grows with every class.
How it works
Step 1
Create your free account
Sign up and verify your email. Everyone starts with a standard account.
Step 2
Apply and upload credentials
Choose Certified Instructor, Community Mentor, or both. Instructors upload a qualifying credential; mentors can add credentials if they have them.
Step 3
Get approved and go live
An FMN administrator reviews your application. Once approved, you publish your profile when you’re ready.
How verification works
Students trust FMN because badges mean something. Here is exactly what happens to your application.
- Credentials are reviewed by a person. Certified Instructor needs a qualifying credential; credentials are optional for Community Mentor. An FMN administrator reviews every application, and any credentials, before a role is assigned.
- “Verified” stays accurate. A Certified Instructor badge reads “Verified” only while your reviewed credential is current. If it expires, your profile shows that renewal is required.
- You control publishing. Approval never makes your profile public automatically. You choose when to go live.
- Your documents stay private. Credential files are never shown publicly.
- Reviews come from real bookings. Only students who completed a booking with you can leave a review.

Questions instructors ask
Does FMN work with my booking tool?
Yes. Keep taking payment the way you do today. Add your own payment or booking link to your profile, a class, or a single session. Students see it on their booking page. FMN does not process payments, collect funds, or handle refunds.
What does it cost?
Nothing. There are no listing fees for instructors or mentors. FMN is supported by sponsors.
Which credentials qualify?
Certified Instructor requires an instructor-level credential such as NRA, USCCA, state, law-enforcement, military, Rangemaster, SIG Sauer Academy, or Hunter Education instructor. Credentials are optional for Community Mentor; if you have them, credentials like Range Safety Officer, CPR, First Aid, Stop the Bleed, EMT, Paramedic, or a competition classification are reviewed and shown on your profile. If yours isn’t listed, choose “Other Approved Credential” and an administrator will review it.
Can I save my application and finish later?
Yes. Your application stays a draft until you review it and submit. Nothing is sent for review before then.
Will my profile go public as soon as I’m approved?
No. Approval never publishes your profile. You choose when to go live.
What happens if my credential expires?
Your profile shows that renewal is required instead of “Verified” until you upload a current credential and it is reviewed.
Ready to list your training?
It takes a few minutes to apply. Mentors apply the same way.
