About
About Firearm Mentorship Network
Good training shouldn't be hard to find.
Firearm Mentorship Network connects adults across the United States with reviewed Certified Instructors and Community Mentors near them. Whether you're buying your first firearm, getting back into shooting, or working toward a carry permit or competition, we help you find the right person to learn from.
Why we exist
Good instructors and experienced mentors are out there, but finding them usually means word of mouth, old flyers and scattered social posts. Firearm Mentorship Network puts them in one place, so it's easier for new shooters to start safely and for instructors and mentors to be found.
How it works
- Free for everyone who uses it. Students, instructors and mentors never pay to join or list.
- Reviewed by a real person. Every instructor and mentor application is reviewed, credentials included, before a profile goes live.
- Honest reviews. Only students who completed a booking can leave one.
- Funded by sponsors, never ranked by them. Sponsors pay to keep the platform free, and sponsorship never affects search results, placement or reviews.
- Built for adults. Minors take part only through a parent or guardian account.
Starting local, built for the whole country
We're launching in South Alabama and Northwest Florida and growing state by state. Instructors and mentors approved by Jan 31, 2027 (the first 500) earn a permanent Founding Instructor or Founding Mentor badge.
What we are and aren't
Firearm Mentorship Network is an education and mentorship directory. We're independent of any retailer. We don't sell firearms or ammunition, broker sales, give legal advice, or issue certifications. Instructors set their own classes, prices and terms.
