Frequently asked questions

Who may use FMN?

Current training requests and bookings are made by adults. Minors can take part only through a parent or legal guardian, who adds them under Family & Minors, books Youth Training with Parent or Guardian classes, and attends the whole session.

Does FMN process payments?

No. FMN does not collect payments, issue invoices, calculate taxes, or provide payment protection.

Are profiles reviewed?

Public Community Mentor and Certified Instructor profiles require an approved application and assigned role. Certified Instructors also need current qualifying credential coverage; credentials are optional for Community Mentors.

What does an instructor or mentor role mean?

A role describes how an instructor or mentor participates on FMN. It is not a guarantee of fit or outcome, so review profiles, credentials, and reviews, and ask questions before you book.

When do I see exact meeting details?

Exact meeting locations and details stay private until participation is confirmed.

Does sponsorship affect rankings or reviews?

No. Partnership, sponsorship, advertising, or financial support never changes credential decisions, instructor or mentor eligibility, search integrity, reviews, moderation, enforcement, or access to restricted participant data.
