READ CAREFULLY. THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT THAT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. BY ACCEPTING IT, YOU GIVE UP THE RIGHT TO SUE FOR CERTAIN INJURIES AND LOSSES, INCLUDING THOSE CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES.

1. Parties and Scope

This Participant Waiver and Release of Liability ("Release") is given by the undersigned participant ("I," "me," "Participant") in favor of the Released Parties defined below. It applies to all firearms training, mentoring, classes, range sessions, and related activities that I book, arrange, or attend through, or as a result of contact made on, the Firearm Mentorship Network platform (the "Platform"), including travel to and from, and time spent at, any training location (the "Activities").

"Released Parties" means Firearm Mentorship Network and its members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, agents, sponsors, successors, and assigns (the "FMN Parties").

2. Acknowledgments

I acknowledge that:

1. FMN is an online networking platform only. FMN does not provide, supervise, control, inspect, or attend the Activities, and does not own or operate any range or facility;
2. Instructors and Mentors are independent and are not FMN's employees or agents;
3. FMN does not verify every credential or claim, and background-check status is optional and not a guarantee;
4. I have read the FMN Safety Policy and the Assumption of Risk, and I understand the risks of the Activities; and
5. I am participating voluntarily.

3. Release and Waiver

In consideration of being permitted to use the Platform and participate in the Activities, I, for myself and my heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives, and assigns, to the fullest extent permitted by law, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, and causes of action of any kind, whether known or unknown, arising out of or related to the Activities, including claims for bodily injury, illness, permanent disability, death, emotional distress, and property damage, and INCLUDING CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES.

This Release does not apply to claims arising from a Released Party's gross negligence, wantonness, recklessness, or intentional misconduct, or to any other claim that cannot be released under applicable law.

4. Covenant Not to Sue

I agree not to bring any lawsuit or claim against a Released Party for any matter released above. If I do, I agree to pay the Released Party's reasonable attorneys' fees and costs incurred in defending it, to the extent permitted by law.

5. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the FMN Parties from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from my participation in the Activities, my violation of safety rules or law, or claims brought by anyone else (including family members) on account of my participation, to the extent permitted by law.

6. Medical Treatment

I consent to receive emergency medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, or illness during the Activities, and I agree that I am responsible for the cost of any such treatment and transport. I understand the Released Parties are not obligated to provide medical care.

7. Health and Fitness

I represent that I am physically and mentally able to participate safely, that I will disclose any condition that may affect my safety privately to the Provider, and that I will not participate while impaired by alcohol, drugs, or medication.

8. Rules and Eligibility

I will follow all safety rules, range rules, and instructions. I am at least 18 years old, and I am not prohibited by law from possessing firearms or ammunition (for live-fire Activities).

9. Insurance

I understand that FMN does not carry insurance for my benefit and that I am responsible for my own health, accident, and liability insurance.

10. Other Waivers

This Release is in addition to, and does not replace, any waiver required by a Provider or range. If a Provider or range waiver applies, each document operates independently to protect its own beneficiaries.

11. Governing Law; Severability

This Release is governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, and disputes are subject to the dispute-resolution provisions of the FMN Terms of Service. This Release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law. If any part is held invalid, the remainder continues in full force.

12. Duration

This Release applies to all Activities booked or attended through the Platform from the date I accept it until I close my account or withdraw it in writing for future Activities.

Acceptance

I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I AM GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING MY RIGHT TO SUE, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.

Minors may not sign this Release. Participation by Minors is governed by the Parent/Guardian Consent and Minor Participation Agreement.
